So a little bit of wine and much silliness later, i've managed to capture a clearer image of "the vein".  Himself is pleased.  If i keep this up He'll eventually have an inventory of my 'parts'.  Heh.  Just like a jigsaw puzzle!

My online artist friend has suggested that i sketch my body parts - for practice and to post here.  i think i like the idea - first it will help me look at myself more objectively - as a composite of parts that make up me, and perhaps then i'll find my aging a little less frightening.  And the drawing exercise itself will be good for learning - and hey, i'll always have a model!

In last night's silliness i also tried to capture some face shots for future drawing/painting, but my arms weren't long enough to keep the flash away (go figure, short arms - who knew!)  i think i'll have to ask Himself to take some for me.  i'd also like to get a few shots of Him, and in particular His naked butt. YUM!

But all lusting aside, i think His skin tones and etcetera's *g* .. would make for a great painting exercise.  And in my twisted sensibilities all this brings me back to the non-success of the face shots that revealed without a doubt, that i have an incredibly small mouth.

i won't say what that speaks to in my mind.  Sometimes i make me blush. Heh.
