December 24,  2004

      Day two.

And i couldn't be much busier.  No art as yet, but getting lots of "house" things done.  We also went out for lunch and some shopping yesterday, which took a lot of time.  And then had a great dinner - Himself baked homemade bread (sort of like pita bread - very yummy!) and we had MM over for dinner.  Oh, and i also got a lot of the gifts wrapped and under our wee "tree".

Today will be busy as well.  Himself has some salt fish finally (and He's really pleased with it - apparently this is a hard delicacy to find!) which is soaking - tonight it will become His famous "ackee and saltfish" dish, and be served for breakfast tomorrow morning.  The recipe i found is a bit different than His (He bakes His), but it gives the general idea.  (Click for info on ackee)

Luckily there are eggs in the fridge for me.  Heh.  Although i admit i usually eat just a teeny bit of the fish part and like it.  But i've also been know to tell a few newcomers to the dish (before they take their first bite), that it's appropriately named - emphasis being on the "ack!"  *smile*

Check out today's photo in the side bar ... much silliness ensues!

(And i made a new guestbook ... HINT!)
