December 30,  2004

      Day eight. 

      i wish i could start the vacation over again.  i'm just finally getting settled enough to do art.  But it's progressing and i'm feeling so encouraged - i am getting so much braver with the paint and just approaching everything with an "oh well, i have more canvasses" attitude.  It's so liberating!

     Progress shot (not sure how much i want to change at this point, so will let a couple of days go by for drying time.)

       i'm really tempted to do an entire series like this - now that's pretty ambitious for me!
